Infants & Toddlers

LPNS offers care for Infants 1 month to 15 months old and Toddlers 15 months to 2 years 9 months in a mixed age, high quality, loving environment.

BABIES

We believe in a flow from home life to school life for infants. We make sure that already established feeding and napping schedules are respected and accommodated. Daily journaling with parents assures consistent and clear communication.

Babies grow and play in a room specially designed for their exploration (and safety). All infants are given ample space to roll, crawl and build necessary muscles inside and out! We pay extra attention to the relationships between caregiver and child. We provide a nurturing and respectful atmosphere that encouraged growth through trust and love.

I am so glad we found Little People Nursery School. I felt very comfortable leaving my twins here for their first day of Nursery School. We plan on staying here until it is time for Kindergarten.

TODDLERS

Each day your child will be greeted by the same teacher who will welcome them into their “home away from home”. Daily journaling with parents assures good communication and partnership with parents.

Children learn to play with one another in a small group setting. The environment is expertly designed to include elements found at home:

• Cozy places to lay down on and crawl through.
• Plants, flowers, baskets and pillows add warm and coziness.

Classrooms are set up into learning centers: Blocks, Toys and Games, Art, Library, Dramatic Play, Science, Music, and Sensory. There are soft areas and rocking chairs for adult & child comfort.
