We are a play based center. A play based curriculum is the most common educational approach found in American Preschools and reflects a mix of free play and more structured small group play guided by a teacher. Play based learning focuses on providing developmentally appropriate opportunities for learning complemented by “hands on” practices. A child’s social emotional development is also supported and fostered through conflict resolution and emotional intelligence skill sets.

Learning though play presents opportunities to:

  • Gain Independence
  • Make Choices and Decisions
  • Interact with One Another
  • Build Language and Literacy Skills
  • Discover Mathematical Properties
  • Explore Art Properties We love hands on experiences - children use real items from their environment to manipulate and process through their senses

Excellent place for children to grow into caring, smart individuals. My child comes home every day with new knowledge and I can already see a difference in her learning patterns. The staff is amazing and very helpful as well.

Field Trips to local farms, libraries, museums, plays, and fire stations are scheduled monthly, to extend our learning into the community and enhance our curriculum.

Our team of educators encourage families to regularly contribute to decisions about their child’s goals and plans for activities and services. Teachers communicate with families on a weekly basis sharing information about developmental milestones and children’s activities via Teaching Strategies Gold.

Our preschool classroom also features these more targeted curriculum programs:

  • Handwriting Without Tears
  • Kindness Curriculum
  • Yoga for Children
